Wear It Purple Day

Wear It Purple Day strives to raise awareness of the experiences LGBTQIA+ young people and foster hope, support, safety, and empowerment for those with diverse sexuality, sex and/or gender with the right to be proud of who they are. You can find more information on the movement here.

EDQ was a part of this movement this year on the 26th of August, with several staff members opting to wear purple clothing. As health care advocates we can ally ourselves to raise awareness and celebrate the human rights of young people from LGBTQIA+ community to foster safe and inclusive environments.
