The Carer Connect Group provides a supportive and collaborative environment for family members, carers and key support people to come together and is facilitated by EDQ Family & Carer Coaches. This group is held face-to-face and is facilitated by David.
Community Table is a supportive meal therapy group that allows individuals to work towards nutritional goals, engage in social eating and develop skills to manage meal-related anxiety and distress. It runs for five weeks.
This six-week group is facilitated by our practitioner Nat. It recognises that many people have experienced trauma at some level and establishes a safe and empowering space for participants to connect with their own body. (Please note that we will take a week off on the 7th of April due to the public holiday)
Places are currently available in the upcoming Emotion Focused Skills Training Workshop, delivered by CYMHS Eating Disorders Program in collaboration with Queensland Eating Disorder Service and Eating Disorders Qld. Throughout the year the Family and Carer Team run events tailored to Families, Carers and Key support people to provide information, support and connection. Our Re-Connect events are themed events that are accessible to past, current Carer clients, or Carers who have not yet linked in with the service.
