ANZAED Conference 2022

The 2022 ANZAED conference will be held at The International Convention Centre (ICC), Darling Harbour and will bring together delegates from Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region. The conference celebrate and acknowledge the wonderful achievements of ANZAED over the past two decades, and embrace the challenge of increasing the reach and effectiveness of eating disorder prevention and treatment into the future.

EDQ has had three presentations accepted for this conference. Several members of our team will be heading to Sydney to attend in-person and present the following:

  • Interactive Workshop: Developing a Framework to Integrate Lived Experience into a Service Model for Eating Disorders (Rohie Marshall and Lisa Kelly)
  • Oral Presentation: Evaluating the effectiveness of a feminist-informed therapeutic intervention for the treatment of eating disorders in a community-based setting. (Christophe Langlasse and Jess Tone)
  • Poster Presentation: Evaluating a solution-focus, skills-based intervention for carers of individuals with eating disorders. (Jess Tone)

EDQ is also a Gold Sponsor of the conference this year. We are excited for the opportunity to attend this conference and hear the current research and findings from other professionals in the eating disorder sector. You can view the full program here.
