EDQ attended the International Conference of Eating Disorders held virtually in Mexico this year.
Jess and David presented ‘A psychoeducation group as a waitlist auxiliary for individuals seeking eating disorder treatment’.
In their presentation, Jess and David shared that data collected during 2020 and 2021 showed that participants of the ‘Wise Choices’ psychoeducation group had an increased ability to self-manage their ED behaviours and body image concerns, increased engagement in activities that are personally meaningful, and increase the likelihood of engaging with their community and supports.
